Along with art, design and literature, music is an essential element in our lives that inspires us. Music and the times we live in are very closely linked. Music and its often profound lyrics (if you listen closely), also release trends and impulses into the world, just as more tangible forms of art do.

At regular intervals, the background music on this site will be presented by an undiscovered singing talent. I am not going to focus one genre, but rather let you listen to music that I find to be fitting at the time.

Five years of classical singing lessons gave Therese Götz the opportunity to appear in concert in this genre. However her heart always belonged to Jazz. Since 2004, she has worked closely together with the renowned jazz pianist, composer and producer Rainer Fast. They have worked in concert as a duo or accompanied by bass and drums. But even as the duet partner of guitarist Michael Huhn (7-string guitar) she has won her audience over with her full, warm voice. The repertoire ranges from pop classics to Latin jazz to swing standards.

In August 2008, The Pinneberger Tageblatt wrote:

„... the meeting of the Rainer Schnelle Trio with the unique singer Therese Götz promises to be a highlight of the festival. Therese Götz, who in 2003 received the Award for "outstanding solo performance" at the Summer Jazz Festival in Pinneberg, fits seamlessly into the concept of the trio.
The editing of the title gives them plenty of space for improvisation and interaction and allows all parties to present the breadth of their knowledge ...”
