What would zeitgeist be without visual arts? Nothing! This is because art eras are created by zeitgeist.

The circle is very simply explained: painters, sculptors and other visual artists are constantly inspired by the outside world - inspired by events and the spirit of the times. In whatever form, artists process what is perceived within their inner being, and then, with their hands, the results of their thoughts are created - modeled and made visible for the outside world. This in turn - at best – stimulates people to reflect and discuss. The circle closes: the human race again begins to move. It doesn’t matter in which direction. What is important is only the movement. Stagnation is death!

Someone starts somewhere and the world is gradually "infected".

In the following section, upcoming artists that are of interest to me are given the opportunity to present themselves.

If you are interested in their work, please directly contact the artists.

Wolfgang Flad

Wolfgang Flad
Wolfgang Flad belongs to the group of young Berlin artists who in recent years have attracted the attention of the public through numerous national and international exhibitions.
His sculptural works include three-dimensional wall reliefs and free-standing classical-style sculptures.
The wall reliefs feature the forms of dynamic water splashes that have been deeply carved into varnished plywood and thus revealing the original wood character in contrast to the high-gloss painted surfaces - an ephemeral motion frozen in time.
Essential to the free-standing sculptures is the dialogue between the architectural form of the pedestal, which itself acts as part of the sculpture, and the fragile, moving, skeleton-like formations of the work itself. References that instantly come to mind are 1940s - 1960s abstract sculpture all the way to the current discourse on architecture and anthropomorphic bionic forms. Similarly, science fiction low-budget productions such as “Pitch Black”, could have influenced the language of the forms.
Apparently, the sculptures are not confined to an exact time and speak for themselves their own language through their grace and beauty of movement.
